What to do what to do?

I won't lie I'm a little down in the dumps after my announcement the other day. It's not an easy decision but I know it was the best one. The thing is now what do I do and how do I motivate myself?!!

I'm a little too hard on myself sometimes and I know this weekend should just consist of drinking wine, eating chocolate and feeling a little sorry for myself, so what am I doing? Trying to sort out the mess I caused when I moved my office around - mmmm and now I don't need an office so you can see my dilemma, it's ridiculous really!

So I keep distracting myself by looking on ebay, emailing friends and doing anything but sorting stuff out. I know I should stop being hard on myself, give myself the weekend off fully and start again on Monday but when you work for yourself you think you have to work ALL the time, this is the downside people!

Anyway then I thought I'd come on here and pull out some pics that I've posted on the blog in all the time I've been doing it. It's probably a pointless exercise but as I've had loads of new readers lately I thought I'd reminisce a bit. Oh and yes I know I promised a 300 reader giveaway, I promise I'll get around to it but I know you'll also understand, my mind is elsewhere at the moment!

So here goes a collage of some of my random things I've put on the blog! I don't know why but you know I like it that way!

I'm not going to disappear anywhere but I need to put my thinking cap on about the future and get on with selling the stock from the business. So if my posting is a little sporadic, apologies, I'll do my best!

mmm now I've seen that jug of Pimms I think I'll go and make one, not wine o clock yet, ah who cares, after the week I've had I certainly don't!!

I hate to hear you’re down in the dumps, but have to say it’s understandable. You’re right about the thinking of work ALL the time when you work for yourself, I know we do and there seems to be no getting away from it. Love all your photos above! Hope you can have a good weekend :o) Kaye xx

Hey girl! Chin up! You are fabulous! When one door closes another one opens. Sometimes we don't see the potential of the new door but eventually it comes to us and we realize that maybe that new door was meant to be.

I lost my job May 9th. I realize that I was unhappy and maybe it happened for a reason, like there's something better out there for me.

Whatever you decide to do I know it's going to be great! Much love from NJ. Hugs!

Poour the Pimms, munch the choc and chill out. You need to - or your head will surely spin off. Better to start on again on Monday poppet ;)

Wow, some amazing b&w photos of you there hun. Now get back to the sofa and have some more chocolate. You already know it, but you have to give yourself a little break before you bother sorting things out. You've had a lot of heartache and stress to deal with and there is no point trying to do anything more until you have given yourself a breather. xx

Wow you are so gorgeous int hose B&W pics -I guess going back to singing isn't an option-?
As everyone else said, you need a wee break before you contemplate the next move or you'll drive yourself crazy.

You said: "but when you work for yourself you think you have to work ALL the time,"

Oh gosh yes!! The only time I took time off I was forced to. My computer crashed. Had two computers crash.

But after a day or so I found I was able to relax a bit and found other things to do, both fun/lazy and chores around the house.

You'll feel better soon. Any change feels uncomfortable at first. (I always got depressed after each job I left, even if I hated it. The loss was still a sadness for me even if it was a loss I needed).

That's a wonderful collection of photos, you are such a glamourpuss and I'd love to own a wall plaque as beautiful as that top one, what a stunner. x

Great photos! I am honored you included one of you and I. You are a wonderful lady. It was really a pleasure to meet you in person after feeling I knew you already through our blogs.

Chin up, I know a great opportunity will come up for you. You are far too talented for something amazing not to happen soon.
