Raiding the cocktail cabinet!

Oh yes it really has been one of those days, so time to raid the cocktail cabinet, thankfully it's not too badly stocked still after Christmas, just as well as we don't have any cash to splurge on it!

Here she is well stocked, I DO love my cocktail cabinet!

One can never have too many cocktail cabinets can one? Here's my wall one, no bottles but nice glasses!

Then of course any savvy vintage cocktail lover should always have a mobile cocktail cabinet he he!

oh yes people all neatly folded up to this!

Can you tell I'm relaxing with a glass of something tonight? Hope your day has been great and you all have a fabulous weekend!

Ahh seems drinking was the thing for everyone to do back in the day!

I still have Moms etched set of very thin, fine mid-century china cocktail etc glasses. One of these days I intend to get them out and use them. What good are they just sitting up in the cabinet?

Hope you use yours!

yes it was wasn't it! We do use ours, not all of them we seem to have a lot of shot glasses which really I should get rid of as I have too many! But I do use them, except for the 30s spotty ones you can see on the wall bar we used to have 3 and broke one, they are so delicate!

Oh MY! Those are fabulous! I want to put out my set of vintage carousel animal Tom Collins glasses but have no where to set them safely. They would look incredible in your cabinet. Lucky lucky you!!!!!

Those three are super. Gonna favourite this page for Florizel -we have our poisons stored in a victorian pharmacy lab cabinet, how apt is that!

Fabulous set ups! I love martini glasses with the stripes! Too fab! The first picture looks like the 50s bar that was at my husband's bubbe's house in Florida! Bubbe passed away in 1992 but my husband's mom kept the Florida condo until 2004, when she sold it. I helped my mother-in-law pack up the good stuff and furniture and what was not for keeping, we donated to a charity shop. My mother-in-law got the bar and most of the amazing 50s housewares. I really wanted that bar but I would never stay anything of course! Again, your bar set ups are glorious! I bet the rest of the house is amazing!!

OMG!!! Your bar is amazing, and the wall unit too! I am totally swooning over here. We're still trying to figure out the era of ours, it's been in my partner's family since the 1940s. But not nearly as swanky as yours (and quite messy inside, I must admit LOL). Wish I could come over for a cocktail at your place! ;)

All hail the cocktail cabinet!! The photo of it taken from a lower angle makes it look like an altar...I'll drink to worshipping at that one any day of the week! x

Can I also add that I NEED a mobile cocktail cabinet. NEED. Can you imagine me whipping that open aboard the 1727 to Ramsgate and Dover Priory after a long day's slog? I can....

Thanks all, ah Lady Cherry good plan, except I have never seen another one, though Vix has once so they must exist somewhere, maybe they are so handy no one ever parts with them!

And Tasha it goes without saying that you or any of my lovely blogging friends are welcome anytime for a cocktail, if you're ever in the UK!!
